Guinness 6 Nations Championship 2019

When Eddie Jones led England to their first 6 Nations Crown in five years and a first Grand Slam since the halcyon days of Sir Clive Woodward, he achieved more than many expected in his first couple of years as England’s first overseas Head Coach, and expectations rose accordingly; A terrible 2018 6 Nations campaign then followed, and despite winning their first match in 5 in the final Test against South Africa they lost the Series 2 to 1. That all said, few will bet against England regaining their composure and starting the inaugural 2019 Guinness 6 Nations Championship as one of the favourites!

At Twickenham, England face the intriguing trio of France, Italy and Scotland, and Eddie Jones will hope that England’s impressive home record against these Nations will carry them to victory in front of the Twickenham faithful. But it will be at the away fixtures in Dublin and Cardiff that England’s toughest tests lie; starting their tournament against Champions Ireland at the Aviva, then facing Wales at the Principality Stadium.
